Creating community around the dinner table is always a joy, and doing so for patients who are battling cancer or those with terminally life threatening illnesses is truly a blessing.

Jessie & Laurent loves to give back. Since 2015, we have collaborated with the Marin County based organization Meals of Marin.  Their outstanding dedication has time and time again continued to be a source of security and comfort to these suffering patients.

Meals of Marin was founded by Carola Detrick in the mid 90s. Her mission was clear then and remains just as clear today; to provide healthy, delicious, prepared meals, without interruption, to people with life threatening illnesses.

Jessie & Laurent’s collaboration with MOM is many-fold. We support the organization by offering their entire clientele a preferred pricing structure every single week on all their orders. To date (May 2022), we have made over 5700 deliveries of Jessie and Laurent meals to MOM clients, which translates to a contribution of close to $60,000 back to the organization. 

Additionally, Jessie & Laurent has contributed close to $15,000 to Meals of Marin through the generous donations of clients who have opted to give their unused gift balances to this wonderful organization. Last but not least, through the Charity Partnerships we hold regularly via our weekly menus, our active clients have donated $1370, which we rounded up to $2000, and donated in full to Meals of Marin.

Your support has ensured that those who are struggling to survive can focus on getting well. In turn, Meals of Marin is immeasurably grateful for the bountiful generosity of the community at large.
